Filmed by Paul W. S. Anderson based on the story of the same name by George R. R. Martina, the film tells the story of a queen who, desperate to fulfill her love, decides on a bold act: she sends the powerful and terrifying sorceress Gray Alice ( Mila Jovovich) to the ghostly lands of the Lost Lands in search of magical power, where the sorceress and her guide, the vagabond Boyce (Dave Bautista), must outwit and defeat a man and a demon.
